SAM GAILEY has
fifteen years
experience in
life production.
He has worked on
dozens of movies
and commercials
as a production
coordinator
manager, giving
him first hand
knowledge of the
complexities and
fast-paced world
of film making.
Sam managed all
aspects of
filming at the
historic
AMBASSADOR HOTEL
which was the
busiest film
location
property in Los
Angeles,
shooting more
that 140 films,
videos and still
shoots per year
grossing over
$1.5 million per
year in filming
revenue.
RAY RAMOS
has earned many
friends in
the entertainment
industry.
Starting at ABC
Television as a
page in the
guest
services 1987
(including
working
production on
seven Academy
Award
shows.) Then
after an eight
year stint at
the Director
Guild of
America, Ray was
offered a
position with
the filming
department at
The Ambassador
Hotel. "It was
the perfect job,
it blended the
two things I
truly enjoy; the
imagination and
the art of
motion pictures,
television and
still
photography and
Los Angeles
history. I'd
always start off
a scout by
saying, that you
could film a
whole movie here
(The
Ambassador)...
and then they
would end up
doing just
that." Ray's eye
for the camera
has also earned
him respect in
the world of
fine art
photography as
'Ghosts of the
Ambassador
Hotel' series
has been
displayed in
several Los
Angeles galleries.
With the
Ambassador now
but a memory
only on
celluloid...

Sam and Ray
decided to
continue working
together; using
their hands-on
talent for
finding just the
right locations
to present to
the industry's
top: location
scouts,
directors,
producers,
production
designers and
still
photographers.
